Dry ridge & hip

hi all

Is the same product used for both?

I have about 25m worth of hip/ridge tiles to go on my roof and wondered if the same stuff could be used

The tiles are generally the same but the dry systems can be different.

It depends what manufacturer you use, some are the same, some are different. Ridges tend to be ventilated, and at least one hip system comes with additional trays not just the cover roll.

In terms of quality, are they are about the same, seen some for £26 for 5m to £70 for the same

TBH, who knows? Most have only been out for a few years.

One with a BBA certificate should offer a bit more reassurance than one without.
