Edging for slate roof

Hi all,
Was looking for some sort of edging for my slate roof. It's to go at the gable end of the house where the slates meet the wall. At the moment dirt seems to come off the roof and is making the painted wall dirty. So to save having to paint it regularly was looking for something to stop water dripping down the wall.
