Old post I know, but I acquired one of these units recently and was inspecting the back of it a few hours ago with a view to installing it, and a 2.5kW oven on the same 6mm cable. The instructions are rubbish and I just assumed the connections were internally bridged, so this will save me a lot of swearing not to mention hassle!
