Electric Cooker delivered with no wire -.-

Hello everyone - my partner and I have just bought an electric cooker from currys online, although, without any indication on their part it wasn't provided with the installing cable also. The book says:

Cooker = BEKO BDC5422AS
Volt: 220-240v ~50Hz
TPC: 9.3kw
Fuse@ Min.32A
Cable type/section: H05VV-FG 3 x 4mm sq or equivalent
Cable length max. 2m

I've tried finding said wire on diy.com but cannot find it, would anyone be able to advise me to a suitable replacement please. As B+Q is the only store I can easily access.

are you replacing an old cooker ?

Where do you expect to connect it up to ?

I've given my old one back to currys now, with the old wire attatched, assuming it'd come with a new one. Connecting it to a port which is then controlled by the big cooker switch in kitchens.

Thanks, thats the one I was looking at earlier but had no idea about it. Any idea if that stuff is heat resistant etc? Thanks alot for the help!

no its not heat resistant, but was probably similar to how your old cooker was connected.

H05VV-F is ordinary PVC flex, not heat resistant. //www.diynot.com/wiki/Electrics:harmonized-wire-code

B+Q is the only store I can easily access.

If you insist on using B&Q you could use this stuff:.....

The cooker terminals may not be designed to accept twin & earth, nor the cable grip.
