Hob model No is T2346. One of the burners does not stay on when the control knob is released - even pressing the knob for 30 seconds or more does not solve the problem. Could it be a thermocouple problem - and if so, is it easy to fix? Would be very grateful for any advice.

It could be the thermocouple or the thermo-electric valve,I`m not sure of the set up on these units.To repair you`ll need a gas safe registered engineer,tell him the fault and ask for a rough price for supplying and fitting any parts.It may well be cheaper to install a complete new hob.
