Electric shower has stopped working….

Hello,

I turned on the electric shower and the water comes out but not the in the way it use too…. Its COLD the pressure is LOW and the shower is not making that usual loud noise…

What could it be?

Actually its nothing wrong with the shower (I think) I have noticed the water pressure in the whole house is dropped so hence why the pressure is low...

But is this related to my 10 year+ old boiler (which works fine) or is it something else??

Occasionally happens then fixes itself..

could be thames water experiencing one of their many problems.

If your cold mains taps have gone low pressure as well then it will be Thames as ben says. Is there a massive water leak in your road?

The low pressure warning on the shower is a safety device that shuts off the heater element so it cannot overheat and produce scalding water.

looks like it was Thames water....

it was on the same on all taps, the next morning everything was back to normal... I have noticed this 4 times this year...
