Can anyone tell me if there is a rule of thumb for the positioning of an electric shower and the rail and shower head. I fitted the shower central-ish with the rail more to the corner, but my old man thinks it should be closer to the door with the rail central. Does that make any sense? I kind of agree with the old man , but i would like to settle this one way or the other, also he says head height and I say shoulder height for the shower.
Thanks

Providing you comply with the installation instructions, you can choose the position you prefer. Obviously you don't want the shower unit directly in the shower spray.

i tend to put the shower unit to one side about shoulder height, to evoid it getting excessively wet. then the rail can go central. i make sure i could shower under it and that should most folk (i'm 6ft2)
