Hi, I currently have an integrated fridge freezer but the freezer isn't big enough. I would like to have an additional stand alone freezer as well next to the integrated one.

The integrated one is plugged into a single socket and no other sockets are close enough to plug the new freezer into.

I have seen a single socket converter kit is available to convert a single socket into a double.
Would I be allowed to change this myself and would the converter kit be suitable to have both appliances plugged in constantly?

Hi, just check you have the depth behind the appliance as the converter sockets are semi surface type.
If your wall is plasterboard, i would use a fast-fix box and just change the single socket to a double.
