Emulsion over Colour Paper

Some papers will reject the application of a water based system, with regard to the coloured paper the application of such a system can cause what is known as colour bleed. In these situations you should first do a small test area and if all is fine you can apply the emulsion of your choice, if not you should as your first coat apply a thinned oil based undercoat before your emulsion.
