2009 reg 1.4 petrol, low millage

Anyone know what the right oil grade is please?

I've had quotes from 10w40 down to 0w20.

If you tap your reg number into Comma or Millers websites, you should get their recommendations.
For me it would be a 5/30 fully synthetic, but you may find that 10/40 is recommended too. I'd change it yearly, with a quality (Blueprint) filter.
Lots depend on the vehicle use really, and how often the oil gets changed - not to mention the mileage!

Thanks Burnerman

I'm inclined towards the 5w30. A local factor stocks Millers and Mahle filters.

The car is used for a 30 mile round trip everyday and I'll be changing the oil every 6k miles.

I guess the Millers blend will be Trident.....use it in complete safety!
The change interval can be extended too, if you need to.
One of the best lubricants of all time.

Managed to get a 5L tub of Millers Trident 5w30 of ebay for about £9 less than the local factors.

Comline filter for £5 and all is sorted.

Thanks for the reply postings Burnerman.
