Hi, folks. I have been asked to fit a shower pump to supply 2 bathrooms. I need advice on how to fix an Essex flange to a cylinder. The cylinder has a blue insulation jacket which looks like it doesn't come off. It has been installed by British Gas I think.Was wondering if anybody has come across one of these on a cylinder and if so how do you remove it so you can gain access to the cylinder to fit the flange?.. Cheers

Or use a Surrey flange and dispense with the knife
