extension size - would planners suggest change of size ?

If planners thought a planned extension was too big would they simply deny or do they sometimes ask you to reduce size ?

Do not rely on them contacting you, be proactive and contact them anyway. Some planning departments will simply refuse it others will be active and will try to discuss it before they refused it.
