Faulty Multipoint Lock

Hello
Can anybody help? I've got a multipoint lock on the door leading to the conservatory and the handle will no longer lift up when the door is open. Is there a simple fix that doesn't involve a locksmith?

So does it lift up at all? Say when the door is closed?
