Hello, I am erecting a gate in my garden which requires a post attaced to a wall. This post will not have the hinges on so it wont be taking the full weight of the gate but I was wondering the best way to secure the post to the wall? Is normal wall plugs and screws ok? Its not a very heavy post but the wall isnt in amazing qulity, some of the bricks are crumbly. Any tips would be much appreciated. Thanks
