We have running hot water but the heating is not coming on we have done a system check where it comes on for fifteen minutes and that is fine but goes off again and there is no fault codes either

Is this a combi or system or openvented heat only boiler?

Tony

So you have DHW but no CH.

Can you explain what this "system check" is please?

Without further information I might guess that the delay for SH delivery is open ended and a PCB fault. However before coming to that cnclusion I would be doing a lot more tests!

The system test is when it comes on at full power for 15 minutes by pressing reset 3 times in 5 seconds which we was told not to be done only in annual service should it be done apparently.

It seems like something is not telling the ch to come on when it should have reset boiler and reset timers even put it on continous but its just not coming on

When you turn up the heating temperature control on the boiler does the display flash and display the set point?

Is the room thermostat turned up?

Has the time been set on the timeclock?

On the time clock is the top right button in the center and the top left button on "1" ?

Yes it flashes and goes up to 85 and the little radiator flashes in the corner. The thermostat is turned up and it clickes on and off is left on about 25 still nothing fires up.yeah the times set ok and the switch on the left is on 1 and center in the other one

Looking like a pcb fault but you need to bridge out the thermostat connection in the boiler first though. How longs the warranty on these?

2 years old but on ferroli website it says the 2nd years guarantee is void if its not serviced after a year and we didnt have it serviced. is pcb fault big job
