Filling a skip

Is it generally acceptable to fill a 6tonne skip with soil and rubble? I don't want to find out its too heavy when the come to fetch it.

Actually when I've called my local skip supplier, I tell him what I'm putting in it and it alters the price due to where he takes it and if it can be 'reused' or just landfill, or whatever the heck they do with it

Why did they put the lowest end where you cant use it for loading?

Odd to call it a 6 tonne as they used to call it 6 yard or whatever.

They certainly seem able to lift it when piled full of broken concrete!
