Hello

Can I fit a TRV without fully draining down the system? When I tried to remove the rad the water inside was under presure and everything got v wet. I believe my CH sys is of the conventional vented type.

Can anyone help, I really am out of my depth!!

Cheers

Jon

bung the vent / feed pipe to cause a vacuum in the system. then you can drain the rad and work on the pipes.

sorry, pluging the expension pipe did not work, the water is just squirting out if the 10mm pipe when I undo the nut. Any other suggestions??
