I'm in the middle of a bathroom project and decided that we'd like to fit a towel rail as there currently isn't one in the room.

I've found where I can T into for the feed and return but the whole house is plumbed with 10mm plastic pipework.

Is there a way I can T into these pipes and join them upto the new towel rail valves which are 15mm compression fittings?

Would it effect the operation of the towel rail if this is the only radiator with 15mm pipework or should I try and find some 10mm towel rail valves?

Not really likely to cause much of a problem, but make sure that you balance the system afterwards (see the wiki for how to).

15mm to 10mm reducers are readily available.
