Fixing cant rails to fence posts

Please can the learned few offer their opinions on which of these is the strongest method of screwing cant rails to 4x4 inch posts set in concrete, or are they all pretty much the same? They'll be just less than 3m in length between each post, then featherboard on to these.

Dunno about learned, but common sense says the bottom one would be best.

cheers for that. i have to agree but the bottom seems the simplest so I thought i was missing a trick.

When I did mine I used the top option in your picture. But I made a cut out in the fence post to receive the rails, so the rails were kind of recessed into the post.

I did this as I thought it would add strength, but bear in mind Im no expert. In fact I have no knowledge on the subject. It just felt right.
