Flat Roof Query/Issue

Hi

We have damp type patches on our new flat dormer roof. The green residue is now loose within these patches which worries me. I'm thinking this isn't right but would like any advice before getting the guys back to sort. Any info would be great

It looks like the guys haven't applied enough heat, there should be a nice bead of bitumen showing along the joins.

Is it now a case off pulling up and re applying the heat or would these pieces now need replacing to get a decent overlap??
