I am looking at putting a flat roof with 2 x roof lanterns into a new extension.
i like the idea of sip panels but not sure of span and load details as the diagram attached.

i dont really want to have a 400mm+ thick roof i can help it. sip panels allow this if they will work.
a standard warm roof design makes for a very thick roof.

any ideas?

Can't see your pic, but I can't see how a sip panel would work for a flat roof on its own, normally you'd sit your panels on a structural frame, so your roof will be no thinner overall. SIPs are really for new builds and summer houses where the speed of construction advantages make them cost effective..

sip's are good for 4m span as my drawing, but its fitting the lantern in and how that will affect the structure.
