I have a fiesta 1.25 zetec lx 1998 which needs a new clutch. Is this a job which is worth attempting myself ?(I have rebuilt an engine successfully in the past) Or does anyone know the approximate cost of having the work done by a garage ?

if you have the tools and a good dry warm garage then work away 
the car will need to be high enough to take the box out from under neath.
you will need a clutch centre tool (£10-£15), to fit the clutch once you have the box off.
keep all parts & bolts laid out tidy and if you cant complete the job then call in a mobile mechanic to Finnish off.

Local garage probably just under £200, for dealer probably double that
