Ford fiesta engine warning light on

Hi all

It has came on out of the blue .

51 Plate
1.3 petrol

Its not flashing or anything in the book it says malfunction go to your ford dealer asap .

Is there a reset button as im sure there is nothing wrong with it , it was fine last week when i drove it but started it up tonight and it just came on . i havent looked under in the engine yet because its dark but will do on xmas day now

you need to get the fault codes read,you can buy a cheap and cheerfull fault code reader on e bay that will do the job or you take it in to a local garage that has the equipment
