Hi

I need to plumb in a freestanding bath that is on a raised step in a bathroom.
Is it ok to use a P trap under the raised floor or should I be using something else?
The trap needs to have a long inlet tube to drop from the bath waste outlet through the raised floor with the trap under the floor.

Thanks.

All depends on what you have under the suspended floor and how much space/access normally. 75mm seal is what your looking for so whatever trap will give you that easily. P trap if you have the space and to hand and the waste runs off to the side, S Trap if it to go straight down, etc
