I need some advice regarding replacing existing pine panel doors in a refurbishment project we are doing.

Can anyone on here please give me technical guidance as to the regulation regarding fire doors in a 3 storey property .

The house is a typical three storey terrace back to back house with 1 bedroom on 1st floor and two bedrooms in attic space.

Is it an advisory or legal requirement that : when replacing old existing pine doors, during a full refurbishment, the new doors must be FD30 to inhabitable spaces in a 3 storey dwelling.

Probably not, as long as the new doors are not actually less fireproof than the previous ones.

You might get more answers in the "building regs" forum section.
