Gainsborough 950 Gsi shower giving hot water on cold and cold water on hot setting

Hello Guys,
I have recently bought a house. Initially the electric shower Gainsborough 950 GSI was working perfect, but since the past 2 days i have noticed that its giving cold water on hot setting and hot water on cold settings, seems a bit strange to me and the pressure has lowered a bit. It was like a fire engine before and now all of a sudden its dropped. any ideas or check i can do please.

Im still using the pull cord switch. The main electric fuse for the shower is working perfect too. Your help will be appreciated. Thanks

If your shower has a rotary setting heating selector (High, Med, Low) sometimes the knob can slip on its spindle, and then it's not actually pointing at the selected setting.
