HI,

I had to move a PIR due to building work. The cable was not long enough so I had to extend it. I soldered the 4 cables and plugged it all in.

Everything was fine except I didn't take it out of engineer mode. I've since done a walk test and it detects movement and is fine. However when I exit engineer mode it says TAMPER FAULT.

I can't figure out what I've done wrong. Is there a way to by pass tamper so it works as normal?

I'm not an alarm guru

Has you checked the status of the circuit in menu 21?

How is the circuit wired, using eol resistors of seperate tamper and alarm loops?

I'm not sure on the latter but you pointed me in right direction. It showed tamper so after some checking it was combo of bent cover and loose wire!

All fixed now thank you
