Ive been batting with this for a while put a breakfast bar on a wall and had a gap in some places between wall and breakfast bar filled it in with black silicone, however the finish between the wall and the breakfast bar look really bad any suggestions on how to make it look better. The worktop is black and the wall is a light brown, I was thinking of using black scotia or beading?

Any suggestions??

You can get matching black upstands, or on a budget? black plastic soffit is cheap.

remove worktop, scribe and cut to fit wall, put worktop back.

Or just put a line of pretty storage canisters and jars in front of it.

Chase the wall out where it protrudes.
