Gas Hob Ignition problems

2 of the 4 gas burners will not light when the button is pressed.
There is a spark but only if a metal object is held next to the pins of those that have failed. Is there a solution to this or must I buy new parts?

Sorry everybody, I have just tried WD40 in desperation and for the first time in over 2 years all my burners work.
