Geotextile membrane for driveway

Hi all,

Preparing to gravel my driveway and need some opinions on the type of membrane I will need.

I now have clay after the excavating I have done and so the sub base will need to be heavy duty. I want to make sure that none of that sub base mixes with that clay and so want a membrane of some kind.

Is this one I have come across on my travels any good for what I am doing?

You want to buy an actual branded product Twith a specification for this application not some generic ebay tat.

terram 1000 or equivalent would be fine

Multitrac etc also fine.

A non woven type will be cheaper and will do if its just for seperation. If you need tensile strength then a high performance woven type would be better but will be much dearer
