glass cutting

i have 8ftx4ft sheets of tempered glass,and would like to re cycle into smaller sheets for re use as secondary double glazing can someone tel me if it is possible to cut and how, it is 2mm thick.

new glass cuts easy old glass is a pain (pane, lol). but you can try and see you might get some good ones out of it. score and snap is the way its done i think.

Tempered? As in heat treated to make it tougher. Can't be cut, it will shatter into thousands of bits, like when yobs 'do over' bus stops.
