Hi.

I was wondering if there was anyone that could help me!?? I have moved in to a new build house and I am looking to hang a 14kg mirror on the chimney breast. Issue is, as with most new build houses, it is covered in plasterboard. The other issue is that I could not tell you what is directly behind that, as it sounds completely hollow, apart from where the plasterboard has been dabbed. I understand about the 'butterfly' screws, as I have used those for curtain poles and other fixings, but I just need a bit more information on hanging this mirror.

Thank you!

take a hammer to the wall where the mirrir will hang.. you'll soon find out what's behind it and can patch / fill in the hole afterwards..
