Having new Ideal Classic boiler but do I really need a Stand off kit?

Picking up new boiler for the plumber to fit but do I really need this item? I have googled it and it comes up with the Logic series kit but not the Classic series. Are they interchangeable?

na dont worry about it he will just pipe it up the front of the boiler case instead of up the back
