heating works but no hot water Heatslave 18/25. Help!

My 85 yr old mother has a Worcester Heatslave 18/25 combi oil boiler. The oil ran out this week, delivered today and the heating works fine without bleeding, but there is no hot water. Any ideas please?

If boiler is running for CH, your problem is nothing to do with running out of oil. If you cannot follow the fault finding chart, then you will need to consult a professional.

thanks Oilhead. I can't find the fault finding chart for this boiler. Any ideas? I could then try to follow it...

Have you tried resetting the Tank overheat stat.

It's under the control panel . Should have a removable plastic cover over the reset button.
Download the manual for location.

The manual reset would isolate the burner. As the burner is working, then I doubt this is a problem. When I have encountered this problem, it is either the diverter head (the horrible Drayton) or a faulty programmer.
