I have been considering purchasing a bath screen which is 1400 mm in height (see pic below).

Since this means the overhead shower head will be above the top of the bath screen, I wonder if water will be emitted over the top of the screen.

Do you think a bath screen should be greater in height than 1400 mm? Also what height should the overhead be positioned above the bath floor?

I wouldn't have a bath screen.
A. They never fit properly unless the bath is bang on level and the wall is tiled Plumb. (Never happens)
B. They look good for a week and then never get cleaned properly.
C. They always leak eventually.

I have a stainless steel shower pole and curtain. Taken down once a week, bleached and washed, spare put up. Easier than a bottle of Mr muscle at weekends.

You'll be fine with the head above as shown. The manufacturer should state an overhead height. Generally higher the better, eg 6'6"
