Help please! Painted plaster gone wrong

So we got our walls plastered last week, waited the advised time and then did a mist coat. After the mist coat dried we painted coat 1 of grey...as you can see its patchy which makes me think plaster wasn't dry.

What can we do??? Do we just wait another couple of days to re coat l or is there no chance of this drying? It looks rubbish and we are worried we have ruined our plaster. Thanks

Was the plaster all nice and pink and dry before painting ? Could be a couple of things really.

It's just where the plaster is over polished. Check the paint has stuck to those parts, if it hasn't just key up those areas with 180grit sandpaper and recoat. If it's stuck as it is just crack on happens all the time

I'm not sure as my partner did it whilst I was at work and he can't remember...it still hasn't dried so I don't know if we should do another coat to cover it up or sand it down? If we sand it down should we do another mist coat? Thank you
