HELP thermostat wiring

Thanks for all advice. Think I need to get a sparky out.
It does however state on stat box, 3 wire connection

yup so 3 core and earth
usually coloured red yellow and blue

It would be easier and cheaper to change your stat for a digital one, they only need two wires and are probably not a lot more than the honeywell 6360.
