Hi everyone. Long time user of the forum but first time poster, please go easy!

So basically I'm planning to replace a 1989 terraneo door entry phone with a new universal fermax model. I've taken images of the back of the old one and new one and I'm struggling. Lots of trial and error, at the minute all error though. Any thoughts or advice?

Cheers,

Robin

Use the supplied chart to rewire new handset
Lt terraneo
To be honest these universal handsets are not always 100%

Thanks for your suggestion. I do have this table which came with the fermax one. However it doesn't help. My old terraneo has 6 wires going in but the new fermax only has 5 terminals. Also the numbers on the table don't match the terminals used in my old terraneo?

Cheers

Is this a single flat or a block ? Some makes of door entry sytem use common parts modified and will not work on standard systems , the small pcb inside suggest it's not a standard handset , post picture of handset front and entrance panel

Hi again

It is for a block of 12 flats on 4 levels. I have attached the images as requested. Hope this helps. Cheers!

Does look like that mate. Think it was used and abused like everything else by the previous owners! Any thoughts?

Hi Robin,

I've found myself with an identical (and almost identically wired) handset that looks to have a broken chime.

Did you ever manage to replace yours?

Thanks,
Mark
