Just bought a honda civic type R, has any one got/had one, whats the good/bad points about them.

They are quick if you keep the revs high up when the Vtec kicks in.

Before the Vtec they are slowish.

slowish..like a micra yeah....

Great K20 and 6spd box. Keep an eye on the oil level and regular change and just go thrash the bloody pants off it. Redline eveytime is what she wants.

Get the geometry done if your gona mod.. car will feel so much better

Not the most exciting of cars but Hondas are very reliable and Type R's a bit more funky - but there is better. Try Ford ST's or (only for the brave) an MG ZS
