Hi,

I could really do with some help, I am trying to wire a honeywell CMT927 to a vaillant ecotec plus 832 and the manual is unclear.
I need to know where the L and N and the A and B on the receiver connect to the boiler.
Can someone help, any help is appreciated.

Thanks
Terry

Well, L and N (plus Earth) are the electrical supply L and N (plus E).

A and B to boiler 3 and 4 - Either in place of the present thermostat or remove the link.

Another page in the manual states "Do not use 7, 8 & 9 in UK".

Thanks for your reply.

Unfortunately I don't have 3 or 4 on my boiler I have:

Any ideas?

Connect the switch Live from the 927 to the terminal marked "Room Thermostat" on your diagram, or RT on the boiler

Thanks for your replies.
Can anyone make it any clearer for me please?

There are different ways of doing it.

Where is your present thermostat connected?

Is there a wire in X1 RT or two wires in X100 RT 24 instead of the link?

L is permanent Live, this can be taken from the mains connection in the boiler (block X1). It also needs linking across to terminal A on the 927. N is Neutral. Terminal B on the 927 goes to the RT connection on the X1 block. On the X100 terminal, the links should be in place as shown in the diagram

If you have wired it to terminal RT on X1 then you need to remove the link 24V on X100 or the boiler will not turn off.

I tried to wire this in but I still can't get it working.

I connected the L and N on the 927 to the RT 230V on block X1.

I connected the A and B from the 927 to the BUS connection on block X100.

I removed the link on the RT 24V from the X100.

It did not work and the boiler would not fire up until I disconnected the wires and replaced the loop again.

I noticed on RT 230V that it says no function on one side.

I'm going to phone Vaillant tomorrow.

Any ideas?

Thanks

That's not what was said

L is permanent Live, this can be taken from the mains connection in the boiler (block X1).

It also needs linking across to terminal A on the 927.

N is Neutral.

Terminal B on the 927 goes to the RT connection on the X1 block.

On the X100 terminal, the links should be in place as shown in the diagram
