Hi – I’m having a most odd issue with my Potterton Lynx 2 Combi Boiler.
The hot water works fine. However, if I go to switch the central heating on, the boiler makes a quiet whirring noise, but nothing else happens, no lights, no firing up and no heat. However, if I turn on a hot water tap (in the bathroom in this case) and then switch on the central heating, it springs to life. Anyone got any ideas, this has just started to happen.
