Hi all,

I have a Worcester Bosch boiler that is 2 years old. Recently, when we run a bath, it never gets to the right temp because it goes cold... then it goes hot and then cold and it keeps doing that.

Yesterday British Gas came and carried out a service and I was hoping the fault would become apparent, but it did not. In fact he gave it a clean bill of health and said all is ok. Then last night tried to run a bath and same thing happen again.

Any ideas?

Assuming you have a contract with BG:
a) did you tell the bloke?
b) did BG install it?
c) have you phoned to get a repair done?

Chances are, that what you call a "service", is safety check, and not a service at all. If I had just one pound for every BG customer who has a BG contract and wrongly believes the boiler actually gets serviced, I would never have to work again. 10 to 1, all they do is a safety check
The symptoms you describe are typical for a dirty system.

and your point is ????. Does the guy have x ray eyes
It is also a sympton of burner pressure not being set right dependant on boiler /a faulty modureg/ a faulty sensor and various other things.
But if the guy has not been told how can he investigate it
