Hotmail Acount. Alert!

Hi, i use Hotmail as my e-mail. I know its not the end of the world but i find it a small nuisance that i have to log on with my long (very long) password and e-mail address to check my e-mails. I run a small business from home so need to check emails regulaly. Is there some sort of alert that could tell me that i have mail, perhaps an icon or sound. Many thanks in advance.

doesnt messenger have that function? its linked with hotmail, cant check right now as Im at work, will look later, or give it a try.

dont think windows messenger does, but live messenger has.

Yes, live messenger provides hotmail alerts.

A small program like poppeeper can do this also thunderbird with its webmail addon will do this aswell.
