Hotpoint WD62

Hi all

Had a problem with my Hotpoint WD62, drum not turning. Upon investigation i found the brushes shot, one wire to the brush burned out and a burned out wire on the main loom that goes from the motor to the board.
Repaired all this and put back together, now have a new fault. Motor spins for about a sec, then stops, machine just sits there clicking. greatful for any advice / help please! Thanks

you have got a prob with one of the motor leads it will be one of the two end ones that go to the taco on the back of the motor

Thanks for that mate, did wonder if that was the case. Do you know if that's a part I can order and replace at all?
