Hotpoint WF540 Washing Machine flashing lights 2 and 4

Hi can you help

our washer has gone on the blink, my husband is quite good at mending stuff with clear instructions.

The lights are flashing 2 and 4 (I have found it means "Pressure SW stuck on full" I presume SW is switch? but what does it mean?)

any ideas what to do the washer is full of water!

clean out the filter/pump .put drainhose low down into a bucket to clear the water .

Rocks1 we have done that and just wanted to post a big thank you, the blockage was large I just dont know how it got in but its been missing for months!
