Hotpoint wm80 bearing replacement

I have stripped the machine down and from the rear view, I have removed the nut enabling me to remove the belt, wheel and then I am left staring at the bearings.... How do I take then out to replace and also the spindle - I tried everything

you need to split the outer drum so you can remove the inner drum.

then its a case of drifting out the old bearings and seal carefully and checking the spider to make sure it is not damaged (and the drum shaft)
