Not sure if this belongs here or one of the other headings.
We share a short drive with the neighbours and I would like to make a sign for us both at the end of the drive. I have a nice slab of sandstone I could engrave but I don't know where to start. A few points I've thought of are:
How do you transfer/draw the lettering on the stone?
How do you cut it out - Dremmell type tool or small chisel?
I've seen others go very green (it will be in the shade) and unreadable - can you fill the letters with reflective paint?
Any ideas welcome.
