I'm going to use paving slabs to make a new path leading to my front door. The trouble is that the front door has a circular step.

Is there a way to cut paving slabs in a circular fashion?

See attached drawing to see what I'm doing. It a bit of a rough drawing!

Many thanks,

Chris

mark them to the shape you want (put both together to get a true curve on them, i would normally cut them insitu, but if your not used to it lay them out somewhere to do it.)

use an angle grinder to gently score the top and then start working your way down. you can tidy up the face of them by using the grinder to smooth down the edges at the end of the cut

Also you will find it easier to scribe an arc if you tilt the grinder slightly towards the centre of the arc. Hard to describe but obvious when you're standing with it in your hands. Think of it like a bike leaning into a corner.
