how do i dye my leather sofa?

i currently have a light green leather sofa and would like to dye it maybe a chocolate brown or black colour. does anyone have any suggestions or tips i could use. i cant really afford to take it to a specialist shop to have it done. many thanks.

i would say if you cant afford to have it done professionaly then leave it as it is.

ok, so you get some dye, you test it in one small area, its ok, you do all sofa, it goes wrong, now wasnt that a good idea to save money, NOT
