Hello all

Could anyone please give me any advice on how to stop a very slow leak from our bathroom toilet from the join where the pan outlet meets the soil pipe.

We've tried re-sealing it with bathroom sealant but its still leaking.

Hope to hear from someone.

Thanks.

Would be best to replace the pan connector, failing that buy a roll of denso tape, which you can wrap around the joint, use rubber gloves, it's messy.

Please Gasman this is 2005.

Take the pan out and replace the fitting or get a plumber to do it.

Make sure the outlet lines up properly in the connecter and is not at an angle. Done correctly, it will be a tight fit and will not leak. :D

turn off water supply to w/c flush w/c
remove pan screws from base
pull the pan forward off the multikwik
remove multikwik from soil pipe or pan
take it to the plumbers merchant and get a replacement
and put back together in reverse
the small packet that comes with the multikwik is a lubricant to help ease the fitting on. ;)
